On 13th March 2018, my team and I had our first meet up with our so called "adik angkat" from three different schools. It's a simple ice breaking session where we all introduced ourselves and played some games in order to know each other better. The meet up was three hours long from 6pm till 9pm where we all met at the FSKTM. Our team decided to had our session at the CCNA lab so we could have some private time with the kids.
Our first ice breaking session started with the introduction. Everyone introduced themselves by telling us their name, and some basic intros like their nickname and fav subject etc.
Then, we moved on to the next session where Izzaty passed each kids an M&M candy and they need to talk about certain thing like their family or their best friend based on the colour of the candy taken. It was very nice for them to talked about themselves so that they could be less shy and open up more.
We also had a break for them to eat and perform maghrib prayer. Since this is their first time at FSKTM, we showed them the surau and also the vending machine so they could buy drink. Some of them didn't bring food so our generous leader decided to go to KK8 and bought some bread for them ((much love to ty)). Hopefully, all of them would bring food for next week hehe.
Well basically, that's all we did last week. We also showed them videos regarding the iLearn Ace and played some songs for fun. It was a very nice ice breaking and I can't wait to see them next week!
p/s: my kiddo is Haikal. Such a gentle boy. He's so energetic despite just got back from sekolah agama.
